ABOUT US

"The secret lies within. And with inner belief
we can all achieve extraordinary things."

- Mr. Weird -

I created Talliston because I needed a house that was beautiful and functional

--- and allowed me to go on wild adventures without ever leaving home.

The extraordinary lies within all of us... including you. Let's go make a new world.

OUR PRODUCTS
Are collected from small batch, ethical and sustainable sources and suppliers

not found on high streets or in online multinationals.

Support crafters and communities in or connected to the core countries at Talliston House & Gardens:

UK, Europe, USA, Canada, Asia and Japan.

Promote social good using eco-friendly suppliers across the globe.

We only stock limited small batch and exclusive products that sell out fast.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where do you deliver?
For us stay-at-home types, a fair proportion of our maps are printed with the words “Here Be Dragons.” Suffice to say our penny farthings do not venture into these unknown lands. This may change as our errant explorers venture into unexplored territories, but for now we despatch only to the British Empire alone (England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland), plus those European countries on the touring schedule of Pandoro’s Travelling Fayre.

These are: Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Hergegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgystan, Latvia, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Kosovo, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine & Uzbekistan.

We use Royal Mail UK Signed & Tracked for all goods in UK, Southern and Northern Ireland – and most EU countries for parcels under 2 kg. We use DPD for European deliveries of more than 2 kg.

o

When do you ship orders?
We send deliveries crisply and conscientiously every other morning at 09:00 hours.

“Q’uelle horreur!” we hear you cry, but penny farthings do not come to the village very often, and this limits our abilities to process orders in the expected timeframe. Why it takes Mr. Wonderful at least all afternoon to wrap a single package before he’s satisfied with it, so you can see our predicament.

Yes, we know in this modern, new-fangled world customers expect items to be delivered at least twenty-four hours before they ordered them, but here at Weird & Wonderful such phrases as ‘express delivery’,

‘super-speedy shipping’ and ‘midnight drone drops’ are terms as foreign to us as ‘Bilita Mpash’

and ‘La douleur exquise.’

o
Do you offer local collection or delivery?
You’re more than welcome to collect your order directly from W&W HQ and there is an option to specify this when ordering. There might also be an offer of tea at non-peak times. Pickup address, telephone number and time will be sent after we receive your order subject to fair winds, waxing tides and the mysterious celestial movements of the stars.

o

Can I use a different shipping address to my invoice address?
Of course. Just specify on your booking at checkout. We can also deliver as a gift without any invoice or pricing information being included. Just add a note in the comments box when placing your order. The invoice will be excluded from the parcel and sent via email to you.

Please check all delivery details before booking, as our office clairvoyant and prescient Madame Lilith ran off to join the circus, and sadly we can no longer accept any liability for delivery to a wrongly supplied address.

o

Can you deliver to a PO Box address?
Profuse apologies, but, no, we cannot deliver to a PO Box address.

o

What payment methods do you accept?
While we would love to deal only in Pieces of Eight, the current global situation means we primarily take payment via PayPal – and this means we also accept the following credit/debit cards: Visa, Maestro, Solo, Visa Delta, Visa Electron and Mastercard.

o
Are my payments secure?
Yes. We work very closely with PayPal to provide the most up-to-date security systems for handling online payments. Rest assured we take your security very seriously and will never store any payment details.

o

Returns & Refund Policy
If you’re unhappy with the item you purchased, you’re welcome to exchange or get a refund for it as long as it is returned in its original condition and packaging, with all labels attached, and within 28 days of receipt. Buyer is liable for the cost of return. For returns, please email jetx@aol.com. We do not accept refund or returns of Mr. Weird’s One-of-a-Kind Wonders.

o
What information do you store about me?
We only keep your name, email and delivery address plus any details of previous orders. We store these details securely and do not share them with anyone else.
