Set of three large angel ornaments inspired by illuminations in The Book of Kells. The most famous of the medieval manuscripts , this codex originated at the Monastery of Iona, Scotland and taken to the Monastery of Kells, Ireland during the ninth century Viking raids. It is now on display at Trinity University in Dublin.
 
Each angel reproduces the intricacy, detail, and majesty of the original illustrations. Handmade in stone-effect resin and hand aged, these divine messengers can be strung from branches, beams or foliage or hung as wall decorations. Set of three, one of each design.
